What is Musical Monday?
Musical Mondays is a monthly cabaret series featuring musical theater performers in the Twin Cities, hosted on the first Monday of the month. Founded in November 2012 by Sheena Janson Kelley and Max Wojtanowicz, Musical Mondays aims to provide performance opportunities for local artists as well as a fun and casual “industry night” networking experience for the Twin Cities theater community. Each Musical Monday is comprised of a roughly 90-minute set of musical theater and cabaret songs based on a theme and compiled by the musicians and the curators. We also regularly put a spotlight on local companies who produce musicals by offering sneak peeks at upcoming performances and the chance to win tickets to shows all over town. To date, Musical Mondays has featured over 300 local artists and shined a light on the incredible breadth of talent in this community!
Local performers, wonderful music, ticket raffles, great food and drinks, and happy hour all night — what’s not to love?
