Commonly Asked Questions

LUSH is a community space that is designed for the LGBTQ+ community. We are a restaurant, bar and entertainment venue. As you walk in the front doors you will be in the main lounge/restaurant & bar area. Adjacent to the lounge is the outdoor patio, arguably one of the best in the city. If you continue through the lounge, past the all gender restrooms, you will enter the LUSH Event Center. This is our cabaret where we host our events, shows and drag brunches, complete with its own bar.

LUSH is for everyone; all we ask is that you respect the other humans around you.

We do not have a dress code. We encourage guests to come as they are or as they wish to be seen. LUSH is a safe space and all we ask is that when you come visit us, what you wear does not offend or disrespect others. We do not allow anything racist or that appropriates culture.

YES! and its all FREE! LUSH has a parking lot attached to our building with limited parking, however you may park across the street in the Brake & Equipment Warehouse parking lot. There is also a ton of street parking available.

Except for very special events we only charge cover on Thursday, Friday & Saturday nights. Cover starts at 9p. Cover is FREE on Thursday if you are over 21 years old and cover is just $5 on Friday and Saturday.

YES! We are all set up for the pups on the patio! We have food and water dishes set up and ready for your dogs at the outdoor wait station.

Our daily drink specials are listed on the Drinks page. Exclusions may apply during certain special events.

Chef Marisol is constantly trying new things in the kitchen! You can check out our current menu on the Food Page. We also have rotating weekly food specials. Ask your server for today’s offerings.

Age Restrictions

During dining hours, which end at 9pm, we welcome anyone of any age in the lounge/restaurant. If you are under 18, you must be accompanied by an adult guardian. If you are 18-20 you may come dine with us or enjoy a show, but you must leave the property by 9pm, except for on Thursday. Thursday is our college night, and you are welcome to stay until 2am with a $5 cover.

The last Sunday of the month is our All-Ages Drag Brunch and it is G-Rated for the little ones. Anyone of any age is welcome at this show – it is fun for the whole family!

Yes, however, LUSH does not offer high chairs, booster seats or children’s menus. Any children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a legal guardian. On any day that is not a G-Rated All-Ages Drag Brunch, there may be adult material in shows or in music played in the lounge.

Event, Show & Ticketing Questions

Drag Brunch is a ticketed show in the LUSH Event Center on Saturday and Sunday from 12p-2p. Your ticket includes an amazing homemade brunch buffet and the best entertainment in the city! Our Drag Brunch was awarded Best of 2018 by CityPages.

If you are attending a Drag Brunch, we would highly recommend you pre-purchase tickets in advance here on the website. Tickets can be purchased on our Calendar Page.

If you are wanting to join us for brunch in the lounge and not attend drag brunch, you can make reservations on our Home Page or on the Food Page.

Tickets to all of our shows can be purchased on the Calendar Page. Select the date or show that you would like to attend and detailed information on the event and how to purchase tickets will appear at the bottom of the page, under the calendar.

We believe consent is mandatory at LUSH. Please do not touch an entertainer unless you are invited to do so. Our space is all about love and respect. We do not allow “boo’ing” of entertainers, or uninvited guests on the stage. If you like what you see on the stage, please feel free to tip.

You do not HAVE to buy tickets in advance, but we do recommend it. Our shows and events frequently sell out and we do not hold any seating to sell at the door, generally. If you want to be guaranteed a seat, jump over to the Calendar Page and buy that ticket in advance.

The best way to make sure your group that is attending a show all sits together is for one person in the group to purchase all the tickets at once. If that does not work, you can have people individually purchase their tickets and put the group name in the “Additional Comments” field when buying tickets. If the show sells out before all people have bought individually, we cannot guarantee them tickets. For assistance with group ticketing please contact us or use the groups page.

We do not offer ticket refunds. Under rare and certain circumstances we will transfer your tickets to another show.

LUSH offers a little of everything. You will see Drag, Burlesque, Live Performance Art, Live Music and Comedy, check out the Calendar Page for upcoming events!

Got an idea for a show or fundraiser? We’d love to hear it! We love to meet new people and to build new alliances within our community. We especially love it when we can use our platform to help the under privileged and under served. Feel free to use the Contact Page to get in touch with your idea.

Reservations & Dining

In short, no, you do not have to have a reservation, however we do recommend it. We do fill up especially during brunch and the only way to guarantee that you will not have to wait for a table is to have a reservation. Reservations can be made on our home page or the food page. Please remember reservations are for dining and drag queen bingo in the lounge only, not for drag brunches or other ticketed shows.

Our reservations are powered by Yelp! and you can make dining room/lounge reservations on the food page, or the home page.

Drag Queen Bingo is held in the lounge on Saturday afternoons at 2pm. You can make a reservation on the food page or the home page by selecting 2pm or earlier. Drag Queen Bingo supports the Aliveness Project, thank you for playing, winning and donating.

You can BUT we have some guidelines that have to be followed. LUSH is a LGBTQ+ safe space and that has to be respected.

Any decor/props you bring or wear have to be respectful. Most bachelorette parties choose to join us for Drag Brunch, BINGO or #DragRevolution. If you are attending a show your props cannot block the view of others and balloons are not allowed in the Event Center. We do not allow any confetti or glitter as table decoration. If it is your first time attending a drag show, it is customary to tip entertainers we usually suggest that each person in your party bring $10-$20 to tip. LUSH does not offer discounts on cover for bachelorette parties, however, if your party purchases VIP Bottle Service, it will include the cover charge for your group. Send us a message using the form on the groups page to tell us more about your party, and we will help you get your party booked.
